Alex is one of the black mask boys from our Darius x Niki litter.

We are delighted with him, both with his breed type and his sound structure.

At both his second and third championship shows he takes Best Baby Puppy in Group under international judges. He also takes Best Baby Puppy in Group at this fourth championship show.

Alex takes Best Baby Puppy in Group and then then follows it up with Best Baby Puppy in Show at the Samford & District Show Society Championship Show under Mrs D Zipperer (Qld).

Alex has continued to do well at Championship Show Group level and he now has 9 Classes in Group (with 3 of them awarded by international judges) and 1 in Class in Show.

Alex recently took his first Best of Breed (9 points) at only 9 months old.

Alex wins the Junior Dog Class at the 2013 Royal Brisbane Show.

He is slow maturing and still has quite a way to go to finish.

After being out of the ring for two years due to a cruciate ligament injury, Alex made his return. His big head, beautiful angles and excellent structure are clearly evident. Alex gained the 91 points he needed to finish his title in nine shows over 10 weeks, with him taking Best of Breed under international judges at five of those shows.

He is more reserved than his sibblings, but still likes his cuddles.

We lost Alex on 1 October 2016 to accute kidney failure. We had given Alex "Bravecto" three weeks earlier on 7 September. Alex went from a fit healthy boy to losing 11kg in weight in four days. We were not aware of any alleged link between "Bravecto" and kidney failure therefore we did not have an autopsy performed. It was not until weeks later that we became aware of similar stories on the internet. We were contacted by the veterinary representative for Bravecto in Australia, but as we had not had an autopsy performed he dismissed any relationship between kidney failure and their product.

My beautiful, beautiful boy was taken well before his time and is so terribly missed.
